Windblade LLC

Oxygen, Anytime, All the Time

Windblade’s goal is to supply anti-hypoxia oxygen solutions to general aviation. From 2005, Windblade LLC—originally an advisor to Inogen (starting 2001) and a longtime Inogen system integrator—has created, developed, and promoted its aviation oxygen solutions to the aviation industry, beginning with the Inogen One through the G2, G3, G5, and now Rove‑6 portable oxygen concentrators.

Managing various types of hypoxia is one of the pilot in command’s most important responsibilities. While hypoxic hypoxia is the most well-known, the other three—hypemic, stagnant, and histotoxic—can also seriously impair performance and judgment. Individually, any one type is dangerous. When multiple types occur together, however, the effects are far more severe—even well below the typical FAA altitude thresholds for supplemental oxygen.

At Windblade, we help pilots stay ahead of all four types of hypoxia with our lightweight Inogen-based, pulse-dose AeroO₂ oxygen systems designed for real-world flying conditions. When it comes to oxygen, “good enough” is never enough.

Providing the right—and safest—supplemental oxygen solution for a pilot’s mission isn’t a convenience. It’s a commitment. And it’s one we take seriously.

Team Windblade is comprised of pilots with a wide range of aviation background and experience. Windblade Management is a strong believer in safety, flexibility and integrity and a strong commitment to the aviation industry. This equates to a solid commitment to customer service and being responsive to customers input and requirements.

Testimonials & Reviews

“At DZONE Skydiving in Boise, Idaho, our mission is simple: help every jumper Feel the Freedom®. To make that experience unforgettable, we take our customers higher than anyone else in the state—up to 15,000 feet (14,999 feet to be exact). This altitude makes us Idaho’s highest‑flying skydiving center!

As you would expect from any well-run commercial aviation company, safety and regulatory compliance are non‑negotiable for us. FAA Regulation 91.211 requires supplemental oxygen for pilots during any flight time above 14,000 feet, and thanks to Tom Laux and the team at Windblade LLC, we have adopted the AeroO₂ Inogen Aviator solution for our supplemental oxygen system. The AeroO₂ has become an essential part of our cockpit equipment, keeping our pilots sharp, safe, while being fully compliant. We trust this solution completely, focusing on our customers and their thrill of the jump.

Windblade’s AeroO₂ has been a game‑changer for our operation. It has enabled us to elevate our experience and strengthen our reputation as Idaho’s premier dropzone.”

Thanks, Windblade, for helping us take our mission higher—literally!
